1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PlayCaller ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of PlayCaller, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.
2. Description of Service
PlayCaller is an AI-powered fantasy football management platform. The Service provides automated lineup optimization, trade analysis, AI-generated briefings, draft assistance, player prop analysis, and related fantasy sports tools.
PlayCaller aggregates publicly available data including player statistics, injury reports, beat reporter news, and player performance data to deliver AI-driven recommendations. The Service connects with third-party fantasy platforms (including Sleeper) to read and manage your fantasy leagues.
PlayCaller is intended for entertainment and informational purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes professional sports betting advice, financial advice, or a guarantee of fantasy sports results.
3. Free Trial
No credit card required. PlayCaller offers a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. You will not be charged during the trial period. No payment information is collected to start your trial.
At the end of your 7-day free trial, your access to premium features will be restricted unless you choose to subscribe. We will notify you before your trial ends.
Free trial benefits may not be combined with other promotional offers and are limited to one trial per user account.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
PlayCaller offers subscription plans granting access to premium features. Current pricing is displayed on our Subscribe page. Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change with advance notice.
Subscription Plans
Subscription plans are offered on a monthly or annual basis. The features included in each plan are described on the Subscribe page and may be updated as the Service evolves.
Payment
When you choose to subscribe, you authorize PlayCaller to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fee. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. See Section 6 (Payment Processing) for details.
5. Opt-In Renewal Policy
PlayCaller does not charge your card automatically. We use an opt-in renewal model — your subscription will NOT auto-renew without your explicit action. When your subscription period ends, you will receive a renewal notice and must actively choose to renew to continue access.
How Renewal Works
- Before your subscription expires, we will send you a renewal reminder via email.
- To renew, you must take an affirmative action (e.g., clicking "Renew Subscription" in the app or completing a new checkout).
- If you take no action, your subscription will expire at the end of your current billing period and you will retain access until that date.
- No charges will be made after expiration without your explicit opt-in consent.
Mid-Period Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features through the end of the period you have already paid for. No refunds are issued for unused time within a paid period, except where required by law.
Refunds
Given the opt-in renewal model and the 7-day free trial we offer, all subscription payments are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@playcallerapp.com within 14 days of the charge.
6. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. PlayCaller does not store your full credit card or bank account information on our servers.
By providing payment information, you authorize Stripe to process your payment in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
PlayCaller uses Stripe in compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Any disputes regarding payment processing should be directed to us at hello@playcallerapp.com.
7. Data Usage & Content
Fantasy & Player Data
PlayCaller aggregates publicly available fantasy football and NFL player data, including but not limited to:
- Player statistics, projections, and historical performance data
- Injury reports and player availability updates
- Beat reporter news, tweets, and publicly posted articles about players and teams
- Depth charts, snap counts, and target shares
- Weather forecasts, Vegas lines, and game-environment factors
This data is gathered from publicly accessible sources and is used to power AI-generated recommendations and briefings. PlayCaller does not claim ownership of player statistics or publicly available news content.
Your League Data
When you connect your fantasy league (e.g., via Sleeper), PlayCaller accesses your roster, scoring settings, matchup data, and waiver information as needed to provide the Service. This data is used solely to personalize recommendations for your account and is not sold to third parties.
Account Data
We collect account information (email, name), usage analytics, and interaction data to operate and improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy for complete details on how we handle your personal information.
AI-Generated Content
Briefings, trade analyses, lineup suggestions, and other AI-generated content are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional sports betting advice and should not be relied upon as such. Past AI performance does not guarantee future results.
8. Affiliate Disclosures
Kalshi Markets
Affiliate Disclosure: PlayCaller may display player prop markets and odds sourced from or linking to Kalshi, a regulated prediction market. PlayCaller may receive referral compensation when users sign up for or trade on Kalshi through links in our Service. This compensation does not affect the objectivity of our AI recommendations or player analysis.
Kalshi is a regulated, US-legal prediction market platform. Trading on prediction markets involves risk. PlayCaller does not guarantee any particular outcome and encourages users to review Kalshi's own terms and risk disclosures before participating.
Other Affiliates
PlayCaller may from time to time partner with other fantasy sports platforms, analytics providers, or related services. Any affiliate relationship will be disclosed clearly in the relevant feature or content.
9. User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@playcallerapp.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits or free trial restrictions.
10. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract the Service's underlying data, models, or algorithms
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure or security
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service in a way that disrupts normal operation
- Resell, sublicense, or commercialize access to the Service without written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
11. Intellectual Property
The PlayCaller name, logo, design, and original content (including AI-generated reports and features created by PlayCaller) are owned by PlayCaller and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any personal data and league information you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant PlayCaller a limited, non-exclusive license to use your league data solely to provide and improve the Service.
Player statistics and publicly available sports data remain the property of their respective rights holders. PlayCaller does not claim ownership of third-party data sources.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. PLAYCALLER MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI RECOMMENDATIONS WILL RESULT IN FAVORABLE FANTASY SPORTS OUTCOMES.
Fantasy sports involve chance and skill. AI recommendations are probabilistic and may be incorrect. PlayCaller is not responsible for lineup decisions you make or their outcomes.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data (player news, injury reports, beat reporter content) that we aggregate.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAYCALLER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
PLAYCALLER'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PLAYCALLER IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
14. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@playcallerapp.com or through your account settings.
PlayCaller reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 11, 12, 13) will remain in effect.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice within the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
