The problem with waiver rankings
Every site shows you the same list: most-added players, highest ownership percentage, biggest add of the week. That tells you what everyone wants, not what you need.
If your RB2 just went on IR and you're streaming at flex, the best available RB at your waiver position is more valuable to you than a top WR nobody can add. PlayCaller knows your situation and narrows accordingly.
What PlayCaller does when a player gets hurt
โก Starter ruled out
Your RB2 is ruled out with a hamstring injury. PlayCaller flags the best available RB in your league, ranked by recent production, and the injured starter's direct backup if that player is still on your wire.

Every morning
Your 7am ET daily briefing lists the best available free agent in each of your leagues, next to the starters who won't play and the questionable ones to watch. Ranked from your league's real rosters, not the general public.
๐ Emerging player breakout
Snap or target share jumps against the player's own recent baseline. Anomaly Picks flag it before the box score makes it obvious.
What makes waiver intelligence roster-specific
Recent production
Ranked by points per game over the last 4 NFL weeks or 10 NBA games (PPR for football), not by how many people are adding a player. Your league's exact scoring may differ, and every suggestion says so.
Your positional gaps
When your TE is out, PlayCaller looks for TEs, even when a WR is ranked higher overall.
Who is actually available
Every player rostered by any team in your league is excluded, so you never chase someone you can't add.
Healthy options only
Players who are out, on IR, or suspended are filtered out of every suggestion.
Frequently asked questions
What is a fantasy waiver wire assistant?
A waiver wire assistant analyzes available free agents and recommends who to add based on your roster's specific needs. Unlike general rankings, a good waiver assistant knows your gaps: if your RB2 is injured, it finds the best available RB for your scoring settings, not just the highest-ranked overall player.
When does PlayCaller alert me about waiver pickups?
When a starter on your roster is ruled out, PlayCaller finds the best available player at that position in your league, ranked by recent production, and alerts you that day. If the injured starter's direct backup is still on your wire, you get a separate alert for that. Waiver alerts are on Playmaker and Autopilot, for NFL and NBA leagues.
Does the waiver wire assistant know my waiver priority?
Not yet. PlayCaller knows every player already rostered in your league, so it never suggests someone you can't add, but it doesn't read your waiver order or FAAB budget yet.
Does this work for NBA, MLB, and other fantasy sports?
Waiver suggestions cover NFL and NBA leagues today, where PlayCaller has live per-game stats to rank players. Other sports get injury alerts but no pickup suggestions: a pickup with no measurement behind it is a guess.
"finally an AI that actually knows when my bench guy is about to go off. the daily briefings feel like getting a text from a buddy who watches way too much film."
